GREETINGS FROM THE BOARD

The last couple months have been busy as the ABAA Board of Directors continues to put into action the Strategic Plan that was developed and adopted at the beginning of 2012. There will continue to be changes that will improve the Association and help all its members. For example, one of the changes you will notice immediately is the Newsletter you are currently reading will now be issued on a monthly basis. This will allow for keeping members up-to-date on current events and related issues, while keeping the length to a reasonable amount.

What is an ABAA Audit? What is its Purpose?

The Air Barrier Association of America has the requirement of project audit(s) as part of their quality assurance program. An ABAA audit is a “snapshot” in time of the installation of the air barrier system for an ABAA specified project. All ABAA audits are conducted by a trained/certified auditor on standardized auditing forms.
